WebThe previously reported high incidence of intracerebral hemorrhage associated with DVAs is currently attributed to coexistent, angiographically occult cavernous malformations. Some patients may still have noteworthy neurological morbidity or die as a result of acute infarction or hemorrhage directly attributed to DVA thrombosis.
