Greenhorn Valley includes Colorado City, Beulah, Rye and San Isabel. The San Isabel National Forest is ideal for family picnicking, fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. WebThe Greenhorn Mountain Wilderness is home to a few hiking trails, though most of the region is undeveloped. Due to the rugged nature of the wilderness, hiking in the region is only suitable for experienced trekkers. It can also get very hot in the wilderness during the summer months and water sources are not reliable.
